Up and Running in 3 Steps

Works in Claude Code and Claude web. Paste raw notes or describe the meeting and the skill handles the rest.

01

Open the GitHub Repo

Head to the Infrasity Labs GitHub repo for the Claude Skills collection. All notion skills live in the notion-skills folder.

Step 1: Open the GitHub repo
02

Download the ZIP File and Open the Folder

Click Code and select Download ZIP. Unzip the archive and open the folder so you can see the individual skill directories inside.

Step 2: Download the ZIP and open the folder
03

Navigate to the Skill and Compress It

Open the notion-skills directory, find the skill you want to install, and compress that specific folder into a ZIP file.

Step 3: Navigate to skill folder and compress it
04

Open Claude and Go to Customize, then Skills

Launch Claude on desktop or web, click your profile, go to Customize Claude, then open the Skills tab.

Step 4: Open Claude Skills settings
05

Add the Skill from Your Directory

Click Add Skill, select the ZIP you just created, and confirm. The skill is now active and ready to use in any Claude conversation.

Step 5: Add the skill from your directory
06

Run the Skill

Open a new Claude conversation, type your trigger command, and the skill runs. Your output is ready within seconds.

Step 6: Run the meeting-notes skill in Claude

What the Meeting Notes skill actually is?

A structured documentation skill, not a transcription service.

When triggered, Claude takes the raw content of a meeting, live notes, a summary you describe, or key points you list, and produces a clean, structured document with a fixed output format: meeting header, discussion points per agenda topic, decisions made, an action items table, next steps, and a parking lot for tabled items.

It captures key points, not verbatim text. The goal is an actionable record of what was decided and who owns what next. Every action item gets an owner and a deadline, or it belongs in the parking lot rather than the action items table.

The output is Notion-ready markdown. You can paste it directly into a Notion page without reformatting.

When it Triggers?

The skill activates when you need to take meeting notes, summarize a discussion, structure action items, create meeting minutes, or document a team sync. You can run it live during a meeting or after the fact from rough notes.

For best results: run it within 24 hours while context is fresh. The action items table is the most time-sensitive output, decisions and context fade, but ownership and deadlines need to be captured while everyone remembers agreeing to them.

How Meeting Notes works

Five steps from raw content to a clean, paste-ready document.

01

Context

Identify the meeting type, date, attendees, and agenda topics from what you provide. Ask if anything key is missing before proceeding.

02

Discussion Points

Summarize the key points raised for each agenda topic, not verbatim, but a clear record of what was discussed, including disagreements and open questions.

03

Decisions

Extract every decision made during the meeting. Decisions are distinct from discussions: something was concluded, not just considered.

04

Action Items

Pull every commitment into a table with task description, owner, deadline, and status. If an item was mentioned without an owner or deadline, it goes to the parking lot instead.

05

Next Steps & Parking Lot

Capture what happens after the meeting, follow-ups, dependencies, next meeting date, and collect items tabled for later discussion in the parking lot.

The output format

Six sections, Notion-ready markdown, paste-in-place.

Meeting Header: Title, date, time, attendees, and note taker. Sets context for anyone reading the document later.

Key Discussion Points: Summary per agenda topic. What was said, what was raised, what disagreements surfaced, the essential record without verbatim text.

Decisions Made: Clear decisions labeled separately from discussion points. What was concluded, not what was merely discussed.

Action Items Table: Task description, owner, deadline, and status column. Specific and assigned, no vague 'the team will look into this'.

Next Steps: What happens after this meeting: follow-ups, dependencies, and the next meeting date if applicable.

Parking Lot: Items that came up but weren't addressed, saved for later rather than dropped.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about installing and running these Claude Skills.

The meeting-notes skill takes raw meeting content, live notes, a description, or key points you list, and structures it into a clean Notion-ready document with six sections: meeting header, key discussion points per agenda topic, decisions made, an action items table with owner and deadline, next steps, and a parking lot for tabled items.
Yes. You can run it live during a meeting or after the fact from rough notes, a voice memo, or a short summary you describe. For best results, run it within 24 hours while context is fresh, especially for action items, where ownership and deadlines need to be accurate.
An action item needs a task description, an owner, and a deadline. If a commitment was mentioned without an owner or deadline, the skill flags it in the parking lot rather than adding it to the action items table as an incomplete entry. Vague entries like 'the team will look into this' are not action items.
The parking lot captures items that came up during the meeting but weren't addressed, tabled for a future meeting, mentioned as context but not acted on, or commitments without enough information to become real action items. It prevents things from falling through the cracks without inflating the action items table.
Yes. The output is Notion-ready markdown that you can paste directly into a Notion page without reformatting. The action items section uses a table format that Notion renders natively.
